Use a grid
system for laying out the page
- In
the world of traditional page layout designers
place elements on the page within a grid system
which can be easily applied to Web pages.
- Use
tables to create a grid system for Web pages-save
as a template and reuse to create new pages
- Arrange
elements by the grid. Some elements will straddle
two or even more columns.
- Look
for books on desktop publishing to help you
understand how to use grids
